GLOBAL TRUSTEES MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE (“GTMC”) pays
utmost respect to the privacy of its officers, trustees, employees, members,
agents, successors, assigns and clients and keeps secure and confidential all
personal and sensitive information (“Personal Data”) that it may collect from
them and those that the latter may provide.
This Privacy Statement is intended to inform the website visitors and users of the
website (“Website”) of GTMC website, with regard to its policies related to the
collection, utilization, processing, storing and disclosure of personal data, should
its visitors decide to use the website for business and other legitimate
transactions.
Visitors and users of the Website must take time to read carefully this Privacy
Statement for them to understand how personal data will be handled and treated
by GTMC. This statement may be updated from time to time to reflect any
amendment or revision in our policy or existing applicable laws related to data

LOG DATA AND COOKIES
GTMC wishes to inform you that whenever you navigate and interact with the
Website, it automatically collects information that your browser sends to us that is

website that you have visited, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on

PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED
The personal data collected by GTMC are forwarded its department in charge of
evaluating and attending to the concerns of our clients and guests who are
interested in engaging the services we are providing.
The data you provided will also be utilized to reach you, in connection with the
information you have electronically provided using the Website.

DISCLOSURE AND SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED
GTMC may also disclose the personal data collected, subject to compliance with
the conditions and limitations set under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and any
other applicable laws and regulations, on a need to know basis, and in all cases,
solely for legitimate business purposes, to the following:
1. To government and law enforcement agencies and regulatory
bodies; and
2. To comply with orders of courts, government agencies, regulatory
bodies and with applicable laws and regulations.

However, its clients and guests are entitled to certain rights, under the Data
Privacy Act, insofar as the personal data collected by GTMC, which include,
among others, the right to access and correct the data collected, object to its
processing and file a complaint before the National Privacy Commission, in case
of violation of their rights as data subjects. Should there be a necessity to
exercise said rights, the seafarer may send an e-mail to info@gtmc.com.ph or directly call the office of the Data
Protection Officer.

RETENTION OF COLLECTED DATA
GTMC and/or its duly authorized third party shall retain the personal data
collected for a maximum and continuous period of five (5) years counted from the
date you have provided it to GTMC. Deletion shall be done either electronically
or by shredding, as the case maybe.

SECURITY
We value your trust in providing us your personal data and for that reason, efforts
are exerted to implement technical, organizational, and physical measures
intended to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your personal
data and secure the same from destruction, unauthorized access, alteration,
disclosure, fraudulent misuse and/or any other unauthorized processing.
However, despite GTMC’s efforts, it is a fact that no method of transmission over
the internet or any other methods of electronic storage is free from activities or
attempts aimed at gaining access or possession of personal data for financial
reasons.

PRIVACY OF MINORS
Our services do not address a minor or anyone under 18 years of age. We do
not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from minors or those
visitors under 18 years of age and should GTMC discover that a minor has
provided us with personal information, it will immediately delete the same from its
servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has
provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to
do necessary actions.
